Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh

This is my first review for my blog, so prepare to be amazed as I am about to rock your world...just saying. I've decided to write about the latest installation in one of my favorite series by one of my favorite authors. I recently met Ms. Nalini Singh at a book signing in Roseville, California. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. In fact, I was so excited I literally forgot how to speak and was slightly devastated after the glorious event. However, Ms. Singh was funny and completely charming and to be perfectly honest, I think I might have a bit of a crush.

Kiss of Snow is an absolutely phenomenal book. I love Hawke and Sienna and have been waiting (not at all patiently) for their story ever since I was first introduced to them. I'm happy to say that this book far exceeded all expectations and trust me, they were astronomically high.

In this the 10th installment of the Psy/Changeling series, Sienna Lauren is all grown up -- a fact that Hawke the SnowDancer Alpha is trying desperately to ignore. With the Psy Council self destructing and Silence crumbling, the Changelings and their allies are in more danger than ever before. Having learned from previous attempts, the Psy extremists launch attacks that come frighteningly close to eradicating two of the most powerful and influential Changeling packs. Meanwhile, Sienna is determined not only to get her volatile powers under control, but also to force Hawke into acknowledging the sizzling attraction between them. Utilizing some decidedly wolfish tactics to achieve these goals, you can't help but root for this extraordinary woman.

A deliciously unexpected sub-plot follows Walker Lauren, Sienna's Uncle, on a Romantic quest of his own. I will say that I was slightly disappointed Walker didn't get his own book simply because I love him so very much. This book will evoke every emotion on the spectrum and then some. I highly recommend it and happily give it 5 glass slippers.

Anxiously awaiting the next installment...
